Kneesall is an attractive red-brick village built on the top of a hill on the Newark to Ollerton road. The village has a fine church. Of note is Old Hall farmhouse, which is one of the oldest brick built houses in the country. It dates back to early Tudor times and was built as a hunting lodge by Sir John Hussey.
The Angel Inn at Kneesall is popular pub, very popular with families has been extended in recent years. It still retains its reputation for good quality, good value meals in a freindly atmosphere.
